Dear …

I/We are writing to let you know about the launch of a brand new photo book from The Gaia Foundation- We Feed The World: A celebration of smallholder farmers and fishing communities.

Take a look at the book here: https://www.gaiafoundation.org/wefeedtheworld/

The book tells the stories of small-scale farming and fishing communities who provide 70% of the food we eat, in harmony with the lands and waters that sustain us.

These communities hail from the Arctic to Africa, Burkina Faso to Finland. Their methods are diverse, but they are all, in their own ways, custodians of the fertile lands, clean waters, seeds, pollinators and wild relatives whose health is critical for a balanced and truly sustainable food system.

Following up on from the 2018 exhibition of the same name, which reached 50 million people worldwide, We Feed The World tells these custodians’ stories through world class photographs taken by the likes of Graciela Iturbide, Pieter Hugo, Tanya Habjouqa, Martin Parr and Omar Victor Diop.

Published in a limited run by Little Toller, and with a foreword by renowned food sovereignty advocate Vandana Shiva, this book is a beautiful work of art and activism not to be missed!
