Volunteers

We really appreciate the contribution our volunteers make to our work and strive to make the experience a fulfilling one. There are many areas volunteers can help - in particular, we are always looking for the following:

Translators - particularly Spanish/English or French/English.

Writers/editors - writing up abstracts and articles from our Gaia Evening talks.

Fundraising & events - you could help us by holding an event for Gaia such as a sponsored run or second-hand book sale.

'Friends' of Gaia

We are looking to start a local friends of Gaia group around the Belsize Park/Hampstead area. The group would support us with local outreach and fundraising events.

Internships

We run a twice-yearly, four to six month intern progamme based in Gaia's office. Internships are full time and usually run from February to June and then August to December.

We do structure each internship - often geared around communications or Earth Law, but we also strive to ensure that you are given broad experience within our organisation, so tasks will vary. Our internships are unpaid but we do offer expenses for travel and lunch, up to £10 a day.
