Internships

We run internships throughout the year, usually for a period of between 4 and 6 months. If you are interested in working with Gaia please do drop us a line. As we continue our campaigns relating to seed and food sovereignty, and the impact of the extractive industries, we often have exciting work for volunteers in both areas. We also require events support and are looking to engage with London based students more actively. If any of this sounds appealing, get in touch!

Volunteers

Calling all Translators!

At Gaia we work with partners from across the world and are always in need of support with the translation of documents between languages. We currently have some latin american documents which we need to be translated from Spanish into English and we are seeking volunteers to help us with this! If you're able to support us by giving your time and expertise we would be hugely grateful! Please contact us on info@gaianet.org to find out more. We really appreciate the contribution our volunteers make to our work and strive to make the experience a fulfilling one.

There are many other areas in which volunteers can help - in particular, we are always looking for the following:

Web designers and support for The Gaia Foundation website and our Seeds of Freedom website. If you have creative flair and can offer us support you will be able to help us improve our communications and reach out to more people about our work.

Writers/editors - writing up abstracts and articles from our Gaia Evening talks.

Fundraising & events - you could help us by holding an event for Gaia such as a sponsored run or second-hand book sale.

Illustrators and graphic artists - Innovative visual communications are important as we produce reports, films and documents about complicated and often saddening issues. We value the support of anyone who is interested in helping us improve our visual communications.

'Friends' of Gaia

We are looking to start a local friends of Gaia group around the Belsize Park/Hampstead area. The group would support us with local outreach and fundraising events.
