Fundação Gaia

Founded by José Lutzenberger, in 1987, to promote a Gaian ethic towards sustainable development. The organization, now led by Lara Lutzenberger, works on environmental education, recycling and waste management, and training in regenerative agriculture. A Learning Centre, Gaia Corner (Rincão Gaia), is situated near to Porto Alegre for courses, eco-tourism, and practical activities in regenerative agriculture and ecological landscaping.
