With guest speakers including The Gaia Foundation's Liz Hosken, this unique 5-session course addresses the urgent need to review and renew the human relationship with Nature.

Ian Mason of the School of Economic Science will be joined by Dr Susan Canney of the Department of Zoology at Oxford University, Liz Hosken, Founding Director of The Gaia Foundation and Polly Higgins, Barrister and Environmental Campaigner to present this innovative course on leading developments in philosophy, law, science, economics, and ecology which can shape the world's future.

Session 1: 21st February

Wonderful Earth:

a) A look at the central importance of Earth to all life and at how it can shape our laws and practices. Ian Mason

Session 2: 28th February

Insights from Gaia Science: Dr. Susan Canney on implications of some of the most recent developments in the field of Earth sciences
